Pets have many needs just as humans do.  Not only do they need quality food, supplements, and health care, but they need to get quality sleep as well.  It is most important that they have a comfortable, clean, waterproof and chew proof dog bed.

Dog beds come in many shapes and sizes.  It is important to chose a bed that fits your dog, not only in size but in personal preference….  your dog’s preference!  For example, if your dog likes to spread out, there are dog beds with large surfaces.  If your dog likes to snuggle, there are dog beds that provide walls or pillows for him to snuggle into or to lean against.  Some like to curl up into a ball, so a circular bed may best meet his needs.

To keep the dog bed clean, many styles come with a removable and washable cover that is easily washed and replaced.

If you have a puppy that likes to hop onto your bed and snuggle next to you, keeping you from getting a quality night of rest, you might consider getting a heated mattress for your little friend. 

And, of course, you’ll want any bed that you choose to be chew proof.  As the puppy grows, he usually goes through a teething stage where he will chew on most anything!  If you purchase a quality dog bed early on, you need to consider one that is not only waterproof but is chew proof as well.  It will definitely be worth it.
